Lafayette " A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Dale Theriot the former Jenny Romero, 51, will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, May 22, 2008 at St. Anne Catholic Church with Fr. Mouton officiating. Visitation will be at David Funeral Home of Lafayette beginning Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at 10:00AM and will remain open until the time of the services on Thursday. There will be recitations of the rosary on Tuesday at 7:00PM, Wednesday at 7:00PM, and Thursday at 9:00AM. Interment will follow at St. Anne Cemetery.

Mrs. Theriot a native of Abbeville and a resident of Youngsville died at 6:20PM on Saturday, May 17, 2008 at Plaquemine Care Center. She was a nurse for over 30 years; liked to cook; and enjoyed doing arts and crafts.

She is survived by her husband, Dale Theriot of Youngsville; her father Dalton Romero of Youngsville; two sons, Cory and his wife Darlene Theriot, and Jason and his wife Tamica Theriot both of Youngsville; a daughter, Brandy Richard of Erath; two sisters, Jessica Romero of Erath, and Judy Bergeron of New Iberia; a brother, Jimmy Romero of Coteau; seven grandchildren, Jay Michael Theriot, Thorn Theriot, Taylor Theriot, and Megan Richard all of Youngsville, Jared Trimble of Lafayette, Dylan Theriot of Opelousas, and Autumn Bellot of Erath; five nephews, Collin Robicheaux, Shane Robicheaux,both of Youngsville, Ryan Romero, Steven Romero of coteau and Kevin Bergeron of Memphis, TN; two nieces Cinnamon Touchet of Youngsville and Courtney Sheen of Coteau; and three step grandchildren, Kimberly Bourque and Amanda Bourque both of Port Barre, and Carroll Dupuy of Lafayette.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Therese Bourque Romero; and a sister JoAnn Robicheaux .

Serving as pallbearers will be Shane Robicheaux, Collin Robicheaux, Kevin Bergeron, Ricky Richard, Jason Theriot, Scotty Maturin, Richard Sonnier, and Jimmy Estelle.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Jay Michael Theriot, Taylor Theriot, Thorn Theriot, Jiles Comeaux.

David Funeral Home of Lafayette at 316 Youngsville Hwy (337)837-9887 will be handling the arrangements.
