Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Daughter New Iberia"A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Armance A.B. Barrilleaux, the former Willie Mae Billie Segura, 74, will be celebrated on Friday, May 23, 2008 at 3:00 P.M. in David Funeral Home Chapel. The Reverend Ed Degeyter will serve as celebrant. Interment will follow in Holy Family Mausoleum. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 23, 2008 from 9:00 A.M. until service time in David Funeral Home, with a rosary to be recited at 1:00 P.M. in the funeral home. Mrs. Barrilleaux passed away on Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at 5:50 A.M. in a Lafayette hospital. A native of Loreauville and longtime resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Barrilleaux had lived in Broussard for several years. She attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Broussard, and had been a longtime member of St. Peter Catholic Church in New Iberia. Mrs. Barrilleaux had done volunteer work at Catholic High School, including working in the school library and substitute teaching. She enjoyed cooking, flower gardening, and going to the casino, and she was an Atlanta Braves fan and an avid fan of the LSU Tigers. Her greatest joy, however, was being with and caring for her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Survivors include her husband of nearly 57 years, Armance A.B. Barrilleaux of Broussard; mother, Eve Gonsoulin Segura of New Iberia; daughter, Melissa B. Broussard and husband, Oran, Sr. of Loreauville; sons, Leslie Barrilleaux and wife, Cherie of New Iberia and Shelby Barrilleaux and wife, Joani of Lafayette; brother, Ken Segura of New Iberia; sisters, Judy Theriot of New Iberia and Jennifer Jeff Neuville and husband, J.O., Jr. of Loreauville; grandchildren, Oran Broussard, Jr. and wife, Lisa of Youngsville, Marc Broussard and wife, Alli of Loreauville, Natalie Barrilleaux of New Iberia, Nicholas Barrilleaux of New Iberia, Ashley Pfister and husband, Nick of Lafayette, Lauren Barrilleaux of Lafayette, Alea Mounger of Lafayette, and Stephanie Mounger of Lafayette; and great-grandchildren, Hunter Broussard, Ridge Broussard, and Delaney Broussard, all of Youngsville and Gage Broussard of Loreauville. Preceding Mrs. Barrilleaux in death was her father, Clenie Segura. Serving as pallbearers are Oran Broussard, Sr., Oran Broussard, Jr., Marc Broussard, Hunter Broussard, Ridge Broussard, Gage Broussard, Nicholas Barrilleaux, and Delaney Broussard.
