"Loving husband, father and grandfather" JEANERETTE - Services for Relius C. Riley Migues, 79, will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, August 13, 2007 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Father Ed Degeyter officiating. Entombment will follow in St. John Mausoleum. Visiting hours will be observed Monday, August 13, 2007 from 9 a.m. until the time of service with a rosary being recited at 11 a.m. at David Funeral Home in Jeanerette. A native and resident of Jeanerette, Mr. Migues died at 12:45 p.m. Thursday, August 9, 2007, at his residence. Mr. Migues was an avid gardener. He loved to go hunting and fishing. He also loved to play cards with his friends. Mr. Migues was a 30 year employee of Lofton Brothers and J and L Engineering. He is survived by his wife, Adaline Rome Migues of Jeanerette; son, Bradford Migues Sr. and wife Margo of Jeanerette; daughters, Melinda Collins and husband Englove Collins Jr. of Jeanerette, Susan Moresi of Baldwin, and Arlene Boutte and husband Shleton Boutte Sr. of New Iberia; grandchildren, Bradford Migues Jr. of New Iberia, Cheree Parks and husband Scott of New Iberia, Justin Collins of Jeanerette, Amy Moresi Evans and husband Grayson of Loreauville, David Moresi Jr. and wife Keri of Utah, Leslie Granger of Jeanerette, Mallory Moresi of Franklin, Shelton Boutte Jr. and wife Kelsey of New Iberia, and Laschel Boutte of New Iberia; sister, Betty Eskind and husband Leroy of New Iberia; and 13 great-grandchildren. Mr. Migues was preceded in death by his parents, Elie and Nomie LeBlanc Migues; grandsons, Joshua and Shaun Collins; sisters, Irene Gaither and Violet Costonza; and brothers, Gilbert, Eddie, Leemine and Clifford Migues. Pallbearers will be Bradford Migues Jr., Chris Migues, Justin Collins, Shelton Boutte Jr., Englove Collins Jr. and David Moresi Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Grayson Evans, Shelton Boutte Sr., Scott Parks and Blake Migues. David Funeral Home of Jeanerette is in charge of the arrangements.
