Loving Mother and Grandmother New Iberia " Funeral services will be conducted for Mrs. Charles Frank Baudry, Sr., the former Rose Mary Sugar Beet LeBlanc, 82, on Sunday, May 25, 2008 at 2:00 PM in the David Funeral Home Chapel with Msgr. Richard Greene, Pastor of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church officiating. Interment will follow in St. John Mausoleum in Jeanerette. Visitation will be on Saturday, May 24, 2008 beginning at 5:00 PM until 10:00 PM and resume on Sunday, May 25, 2008 at 9:00 AM until services. A rosary will be prayed in the funeral home on Saturday at 7:00 PM. A native of Jeanerette and a resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Baudry died on Thursday, May 22, 2008 at 2:30 PM at a local nursing home. She loved knitting, crocheting, cooking and dancing. Most of all she loved life and family. She is survived by her two sons, Charles F. Baudry, Jr. and his wife Nancy and Barry J. Baudry and his wife Rowena all of New Iberia; his daughter, Rose Mary Hansen and her husband Mark of San Antonio, TX; her grandchildren, Amy Purtle and her husband Ray of Youngsville, Chad Baudry and his wife Jennifer and Jon Baudry all of New Iberia, Shawn Hansen and his wife Chelsea of Fayetteville, NC, Jamie Hansen and his wife Tamra of Cibolo, TX and Jennifer Stone and her husband Bryan of San Antonio, TX; her great grandchildren, Brittany Jenkins and Caleb Baudry both of New Iberia, Casidy Von Lienen of Fayetteville, NC, Austin and Ian Purtle both of Youngsville and Dylan Stone of San Antonio, TX and expecting a 7th great grandchild; her brother, ONeil LeBlanc, Jr. and his wife Nadra of Jeanerette and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Charles Frank Baudry, Sr.; her parents, ONeil LeBlanc, Sr. and Elenore Derouen LeBlanc and her sister, Josephine LeBlanc Guiberteau. Pallbearers will be Jamie Hansen, Bryan Stone, Chad Baudry, Jon Baudry, Shawn Hansen and Ray Purtle. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles F. Baudry, Jr., Barry Baudry and Mark Hansen.
