Rynella " Funeral Services will be conducted for Mr. Emile G. Haydel, Age 90, at 10:00AM Wednesday December 2, 2009 at St. Marcellus Catholic Church with Father Donovan Labbe officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Mausoleum in New Iberia. Visitation will be Tuesday December 1, 2009 from 3:00PM until 9:00PM with a Rosary being prayed at 6:30PM. Visitation will resume Wednesday from 8:00AM until service time. A native of Jeanerette, longtime resident of Rynella and resident of Kilgore, Texas at the time of his death, Mr. Haydel was a mechanic with W.L. Estis Well Service for 30 years. He was a veteran of WWII having served in the U.S. Army. He loved woodworking. Survivors include his children, Sandra H. Crowl and husband Joe of Princeton, Texas, Margaret H. Gomez of Kilgore, Texas and Whitney J. Haydel and wife Kathy of Tomball, Texas; stepdaughter, Sherry Flecher and husband David of Kilgore, Texas, 13 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Elizabeth Lizzie Boutte Haydel; his second wife, June Margolis Haydel; his parents Whitney A. and Carmen Weber Haydel; a son, Paul Haydel; a sister, Vivian Harrington; a brother W.J. Haydel; 1 grandson and 3 great grandsons. Pallbearers will be Tony Viator, Joe and Josh Crowl, Todd Brown, Dan Williams and Jackie Robicheaux.
