Michael Sidney Breaux

March 8, 1945 — June 8, 2008

FRANKLIN - Michael S. Breaux, 63, a marine fiberglass repair technician, died in the early morning hours of Sunday, June 8, 2008, surrounded and attended by three of his children, Candese, Brook and Jonah. Michaels death came after a two-year courageous battle with cancer. Michael was born in March of 1945, the third child of Sidney J. Breaux of Irish Bend and Irene Bodin Breaux of Aston, both now deceased, and was raised and grew up with his sister and brother, Katherine and Paul, at the corner of Second and Caffery Streets in Franklin, LA. He is survived and will be forever remembered by his four children, Candese and her husband Richard J. Hebert, Brook, Jonah and Angie, and all of his family and many friends. Michael was a military veteran, serving with distinction in the Vietnam War and receiving the Purple Heart. Michael will be remembered at a memorial service to be held at the Church of Assumption Catholic Church in Franklin, Louisiana, on Saturday, June 14, 2008, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
