New Iberia -Funeral services will be held for Christopher Wayne Landry, Age 41, Friday, June 13th at 10:00a.m. at David Funeral Home Chapel with Father Mark Derise officiating. Interment will follow in Beau Pre Cemetery in Jeanerette. Visitation will be Thursday June 12, 2008 from 3:00PM until 9:00PM with a Rosary being prayed at 6:30PM. Visitation will resume Friday from 8:00AM until service time.Chris died Tuesday, June 10, 2008, in Lafayette, LA.Chris was born on August 1, 1966, in New Iberia, LA. He was a native of Jeanerette, LA, graduate of St. Stanislaus, Bay St. Louis, MS, received his Bachelors in Finance from UL of Lafayette, and Masters in Business Administration from UL Lafayette.Chris was the son of Leslie Lampo Williams, Lafayette, LA and the late Wayne Luke Landry, of Jeanerette, LA.
Chris was employed by Ryder Transportation Company, as a Sales Development Executive.
Chris is survived by step-brothers, David Williams, USMC, and wife Stephanie of San Diego, CA, Carl Williams, Dallas, TX., Eric Landry of New Iberia, LA and Stephen Landry of San Antonio, TX., maternal grandmother, Mercedes Monnin Lampo, Lafayette, LA, and paternal grandmother, Irene Walker Landry of New Iberia, LA. Aunts Meryln Eddy, of Franklin, LA., Susan Lampo Horner, Savannah, GA., Janice Lampo Braun, Lafayette, LA, Laurie Lampo Kieffer, Lafayette, LA. and Uncle, John L. Lampo, Lafayette, La. Cousins, Cyndi Hebert, Craig Barrilleaux, Kathryn Barrilleaux, Kirk Barrilleaux, Karen Aucoin, Andrea Upshaw, Ryan M. Dartez, and Mitchell E. Harrison.
Chris was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Luke Landry, Jeanerette, LA. grandfathers, Larry C. Lampo and Luke Landry from Jeanerette, LA. He was also preceded in death by his cousin, Bannon B. Braun.
Pallbearers will be John L, Lampo, Ryan M. Dartez, David Williams, Carl Williams, Craig Barrilleaux, Stephen Landry, Eric Landry, and Kirk Barrilleaux.
