Abbeville- Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 29, 2007 at 3:00PM at David Funeral Home Chapel for Mr. Wilmer "Mike" Stelly, age 86, who passed away Friday, October 26, 2007 at 9:50AM, at the Heart Hospital of Lafayette. Father Guidry will be officiating. Interment will be at St. Paul Cemetery. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home Sunday, October 28, 2007 from 10:00AM until 9:00PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00PM and will resume at 8:00AM until service time Monday, October 29, 2007. Mr. Mike's survivors include his wife Elta Dubois Stelly; two daughters, Debra Hafemann and her husband Mark of Maurice and Shirley Mae Stelly of Grand Bay, Alabama; two sons, Kern Wilmer Stelly and his wife Andrea of Idaho and Keith Paul Stelly and his wife Stephanie of Grand Bay, Alabama; two granddaughters, Sarah Elizabeth Snow and her husband Bradford of Baton Rouge and Lindsey Nicole Stelly of Grand Bay, Alabama; three grandsons, Aaron Lee Harbison of Mobile, Alabama, Michael Christopher Stelly of Grand Bay, Alabama and Jacob Adam Stelly of Grand Bay, Alabama; one great granddaughter, Wynter Ann Snow of Baton Rouge; two brothers, Wilfred Stelly of Baytown, Texas and Hubert Stelly of Abbeville. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Mr. Mike is preceded in death by his parents, Alexie and Nattie Dubois Stelly. Pallbearers will be Keith Paul Stelly, Kern Wilmer Stelly, Mark Hafemann, Aaron Lee Harbison, Michael Christopher Stelly and Allen Dubois. David Funeral Home of Abbeville will be handling arrangements.
