Jeanerette " Funeral services will be conducted for Tommy Gerard Boub Legnon, 44 on Friday, June 27, 2008 at 11:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Father Ed Degeyter officiating. Interment will follow in St. John Mausoleum.

Visitation will begin on Thursday, June 26, 2008 at 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and resume on Friday, June 27, 2008 at 8:00 AM until time of services. A rosary will be prayed in the funeral home on Thursday at 6:30 PM.

A native of New Iberia and a resident of Jeanerette, Tommy died on Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at 2:13 PM upon arrival at a Marrero hospital. He was a diesel mechanic with Blue Stream. He loved golf, fishing and riding four wheelers. He also served in the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his wife, Sheila Broussard Legnon of Jeanerette; his son, Dane T. Legnon and his fiancee Kristi Romero of New Iberia; his brothers, Glenn J. Legnon and his wife Denise of Lydia and Ted Legnon and his wife Sue of New Iberia; his sisters, Kitty Ruiz and her husband Cordell of Loreauville and Sandra L. Bourque and her husband Darren of Grand Marais; his godchildren, Kaiden Bourque of Grand Marais and Matthew P. Migues of Jeanerette and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore L. T.L. Legnon and Gloria Nelwyn Moore Legnon.

Pallbearers will be Dane T. Legnon, Kevin Bruce Broussard, Matthew P. Migues, Glenn J. Legnon, Rusty R. Ruiz and Ted Legnon.

Honorary pallbearers will be Rodney Foco, Leon Lyons, Cordell Ruiz, Marty Martin, Darren Bourque, Nick Gary, Kurt Landry,
L. J. Landry and A. J. Boutte.
