Abbeville " Funeral Services for Mrs. Victoran Boudreaux the former Marie Simon, 100, will be held at 10:00AM on Monday, June 30, 2008 at The David Funeral Home Chapel of Abbeville with Fr. Kenneth Mayne officiating, Garland Thompson singing, and John Buckelew playing the violin. Visitation will begin on Sunday, June 29, 2008 at 4:00PM until 9:00PM with a recitation of the rosary by Gail Boudreaux at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume on Monday, June 30, 2008, beginning at 8:00AM until time of services. Interment will be at LeBlanc Cemetery. A native of Vermillion Parish and resident of Maurice, Mrs. Boudreaux passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2008 at 10:41AM at her residence. She is survived by two sons, Joseph Boudreaux of Abbeville and Alfred Boudreaux of Lafayette; six daughters, Lula Preston of Meaux, Colastie Boudreaux of Abbeville, Martha Primeaux of Lafayette, Aline Hargrave of Abbeville, Beulah Boudreaux of Meaux and Eula Baudoin of Maurice; 24 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband, Victoran Boudreaux; her parents, Onile Simon and Eugenia Gerard Simon; son, Jessey Boudreaux; daughters, Elaine Crocker and Jeanne Boudreaux; a granddaughter, Karmen Maihas and a great granddaughter, Olivia Victoria Jones. Serving as pallbearers will be Earnest Trahan, Michael Primeaux, Opey Hargrave, James Guidry, Thomas Baudoin and Timothy Boudreaux.
