JEANERETTE ~ A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Weakless LeBlanc, Sr., the former Joyce Bourque, 72, will be conducted at 10:00 AM Saturday, July 12, 2008 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with the Rev. Jody Simoneaux officiating. Interment will follow in Beau Pre Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visiting hours will be observed Friday, July 11, 2008 from 11:00 AM until 10:00 PM with a rosary being recited at 6:30 PM at David Funeral Home. Visitation will resume Saturday, July 12, 2008 at 8:00 AM until the time of service.

A native of Iberia Parish and a resident of Jeanerette, Mrs. LeBlanc died at 4:15 AM Thursday, July 10, 2008, at Lafayette General Medical Center.

Mrs. LeBlanc enjoyed bowling, camping and getting together with family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Weakless LeBlanc of Jeanerette; three daughters, Lynn LeBlanc of Jeanerette, Tina Baudoin of Jeanerette, and Sharon Petkovich of Poplarville, Mississippi; son, Weakless T.D. Boy LeBlanc, Jr. of Jeanerette; sister, Lile Mae Richard of Loreauville; brother, Godfrey Bourque of New Iberia; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Mrs. LeBlanc was preceded in death by her son, Chad LeBlanc; parents, Marcel and Emma Hebert Bourque; brothers, Junius and Warren Bourque; and sisters, Mildred B. Richard, Lillian B. Kenner and Nellie Mae B. Lasseigne.

Pallbearers will be Nickey Landry, Jared Landry, Cody Broussard, Trent Sonnier, Tadd Gonzales and Chase Petkovich.

Honorary pallbearers will be Brent Baudoin, Ernest Petkovich and Weakless T.D. Boy LeBlanc, Jr.
