Purvis "P.W." Broussard

Lafayette " Funeral Services for Purvis P.W. W. Broussard will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, January 12, 2009 at David Funeral Home of Lafayette with Deacon Cody Miller officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 11, 2009 from 2:00PM until 8:00PM with a rosary being recited in french at 6:00PM and will resume on Monday, January 12, 2009 from 8:00AM until time of services. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Milton. A native of Milton and resident of Lafayette, P.W. passed away at 10:20AM on Friday, January 09, 2009 at Maison de Lafayette. He worked for Heldenbrand Tuboscope in New Iberia for 25 years as their lead machinist and welder. He was also a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus. He is survived by his wife, Marguerite Maggie Courtois Broussard of Lafayette; his step-son, Glenn Gallet and wife, Cindy of Lafayette; and three step-grandchildren, Ricky Gallet, Kristy Gallet and Dusty Gallet, all of Lafayette. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Cecile Stiener Broussard. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
