Henry - Memorial Services will be held for Mr. Adam P.D. Suire, 80, on Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at 9:30AM at St. John Catholic Church in Henry with Father Matthew officiating. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Mausoleum in Erath. A native of Erath and resident of Henry, Mr. Suire passed away on Sunday, July 27, 2008 at 3:59AM at a Lafayette hospital. He was a member of the HBPA, served in the Merchant Marines and was a roughneck in the oilfield for over 30 years. He loved animals and trained horses all his life. He was owner and operator of Jean Maries Boat Landing. He is survived by his wife, Ida Soirez Suire of Henry; one son, Lane Suire of Erath; two daughters, Sharon Suire Champagne and husband, Elie J. Champagne, Sr. of Erath and Anita Suire Broussard and husband, Kenneth P. Broussard of Gonzales; three grandsons, Tobin J. Trahan of Tampa, FL, Brett Paul Broussard and wife, Kimberly of Denham Springs and Heath Broussard of Gonzales; one granddaughter, Brandi Suire of Carencro; one great-grandson, Hayden Broussard of Denham Springs; four brothers, Loway Suire and wife, Maudrey Vincent Suire of Erath, Jean Baptiste J.C. Suire of Delcambre, Pierre James Jimmy Suire and wife, Lois LeBlanc Suire of Erath, and Boniface Suire, Jr. and wife, Faye Boudreaux Suire of Erath; three sisters, Celia Bouillion and husband, David of Erath, Lovelyn Prejean and husband, Raymond Prejean, Sr. of Erath and Belzire Suire Landry and husband, Cleo Clay Landry, Jr. of Erath. He is preceded in death by his parents, Boniface Suire, Sr. and Belzire Landry Suire; his sister, Elta S. Cormier; grandson, Cody Suire; nephews, Shelton Cormier, Shelby Cormier, Brady Suire and Ryan Suire; and nieces, Raylyn Prejean Trahan and Mary Grace Cormier. David Funeral Home of Erath, 209 E.
