Loving Mother and Grandmother Jeanerette " Funeral Services will be conducted for Mrs. Nedes LeBlanc the former Lorena Guidry, Age 89, at 11:00AM Friday October 19, 2007 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Deacon Theo Landry officiating. Interment will follow in St. Johns Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday October 18, 2007 from 3:00PM until 10:00PM with a praying of the Rosary at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume Friday from 8:00AM until service time. She died Tuesday October 16, 2007 at 4:25PM at the residence of her daughter in Chestnut, La. A native of Louisa she had been a longtime resident of Jeanerette who loved children and cooking. Survivors include her children; Wildon J. LeBlanc of Mandeville, Alberta L. Conley and husband Edward of Chestnut, Clement LeBlanc of New Iberia and Peter LeBlanc and wife Cathy of Jeanerette, 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; Nedes LeBlanc, parents; Eugene Guidry, Sr. and Eve Sullivan Guidry, brothers; Eugene Guidry Jr., Whitney and Willis Koch Guidry and a sister; Lillian G.
