Erath " A Mass of Christian Burial for Colby John Broussard, 25, will be held at 1:00PM on Friday, August 1, 2008 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Fr. Wayne Duet officiating. Visitation will be at David Funeral Home of Erath on Wednesday, July 30, 2008 from 4:00PM until 9:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00PM; Thursday, July 31, 2008 from 10:00AM until 9:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00PM; and Friday, August 1, 2008 from 9:00AM until the time of the services. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Mausoleum. Colby a native and resident of Erath died at 10:52AM on Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at his residence. He was known for his love of riding and repairing jet skis and four wheelers. He was also a part time comedian free of charge. He is survived by his father and step mother, Thad J. Broussard and Denise Broussard of Erath; his Girlfriend, Alyse Mouton of Carencro; a brother, Jake Broussard of Erath; a sister, Leah and her husband Archie Goodman of Lafayette; Paternal Grandfather, Paul Ed Broussard and his wife Jackie of Erath; his god child, Ethan Broussard of Erath; his best friend, Phillip Broussard and his fianc Irene Thibeaux of Erath; and numerous relatives and friends who greatly miss him. He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Christine Richard Broussard; paternal grandmother, Bonnie Marie Simon Broussard; his nanny, Monica Faith Richard; and his maternal grandparents, Juneius and Glory Richard. Serving as pallbearers will be Terran Menard, Jared Moore, Benjamin Nelson, Ryan Broussard, Phillip Broussard, and Kelly Duplantis. David Funeral Home of Erath at 209 E.
