Patsy Trahan Roche

Erath " A Mass of Christian Burial for Patsy Trahan Roche, 62, will be held at 10:00AM on Thursday, August 7, 2008 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Erath with Fr. Sixtus Iwuji officiating. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Abbeville beginning Tuesday, August 5, 2008 from 10:00AM until 9:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume on Wednesday, August 6, 2008 from 9:00AM until 9:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00PM and will continue on Thursday, August 7, 2008 from 8:00AM until time of services. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Mausoleum.

Mrs. Roche, a native of Abbeville and a resident of Erath, passed away Monday, August 4, 2008 at a local hospital. She loved coaching baseball and playing Pokeno and Bingo.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Harris Roche of Erath; her son, David Roche and wife, Mona of Erath; her four daughters, Sally Roche of Franklin, Lisa Meaux and husband, Mark of Morgan City, Deborah Roche of Pensacola, Florida, and Susan Houck of Calvert City, Kentucky; six brothers, Francis Jimmy Trahan, Riley Trahan, Roger Trahan and Ricky Trahan and wife, Pat, all of Abbeville, Michael Trahan and Mack Trahan and wife, Sendie, all of Erath; fifteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Elodie Frederick Trahan; two brothers, Wilbur Trahan and Edward Steve Trahan; one sister, Judy Robicheaux; and one great-grandson, Zachary Pickens.
