Abbeville " Funeral Services for Mr. Dua "T-Babe" Morvant, Sr., age 83, will be held on Monday, October 15, 2007, at David Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00PM. Visitation will be held on Monday from 9:30AM until service time with Rev. Fontenot officiating. Interment will be at St. Paul Mausoleum. A native of Milton and a resident of Abbeville, Mr. Morvant died on Saturday, October 13, 2007 at his residence. Mr. Morvant is survived by his wife, Anna Morvant of Abbeville; two sons, Dua Morvant, Jr. and his wife Leslie of Abbeville and Kenneth Morvant and his wife Penny of Princeton, Texas; one daughter, Kathy Calmes and her husband John of Baton Rouge; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He is preceded in death by his parents; Jean and Augustine Bourque Morvant; five brothers and three sisters.
