Loving Mother & Grandmother New Iberia " Funeral services will be conducted for Mrs. Percy Joseph LeBlanc, the former Barbara Latiolais, 73, on Thursday, Aug. 7, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic with Father Mark Derise officiating. Interment will follow in Holy Family Cemetery. A native of Henderson and a resident of New Iberia, Mrs. LeBlanc died from a brief illness at 6:05 PM Tuesday, August 5, 2008 at her residence in New Iberia. Barbara was a kind and giving person to everyone she knew, she enjoyed listening to French, Cajun and Country Music, she loved cooking her Specialty Crawfish Bisque and Homemade Bread Pudding for family and friends, quilting, cleaning houses, fishing, gardening and most of all spending time with her family and friends. Barbara is survived by her two sons of New Iberia, Dean LeBlanc, Neil LeBlanc and his wife Melissa; two daughters, Phyllis Dupuis and her husband Keith of Breaux Bridge, Debbie Bayard and her husband Richard of New Iberia; seven grandchildren, Britney Williamson and her husband Dutch of Lafayette, Elijah Dore of New Iberia, Taran Dupuis of Breaux Bridge, Brandi LeBlanc of New Iberia, Hunter Bayard of New Iberia, Riece LeBlanc of New Iberia, and Remi LeBlanc of New Iberia; three great grandchildren Saige Dore of New Iberia, Shepard Dupuis of Breaux Bridge and Rorie Williamson of Lafayette; two sisters, Lillie Mae Berard and her husband Steve of Henderson and Lois Thibodeaux of Parks and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Leblanc was preceded in death by her husband, Percy LeBlanc; her father Adeline Latiolais; her mother, Euline Latiolais; two brothers, Bobby Latiolais and Jerry Latiolais and her sister, Grace Norman. We would like to thank our brother Dean LeBlanc and our aunt Lois Thibodeaux for being such a good care giver, they made her last couple of months very comfortable. Thanks to her good friends and family members that prayed for her daily and visited her at the times she needed them, Murphy and Hazel LeBlanc, Charles and Jane Menard, Betty Robin, Tammy Menard and Julie Fremin for making a very special hand fan that kept her cool and comfortable. We also want to thank Hospice Care of Louisiana for helping us through this difficult time. Pallbearers will be Elijah Dore, Hunter Bayard, Keith Dupuis, Richard Bayard, Dean LeBlanc and Neil LeBlanc.
