Erath " A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Sandra Lee Fernandez Broussard, age 66, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Erath on October 15, 2007 at 3:30PM. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 14, 2007 from 10:00AM until 9:00PM with a Rosary prayed at 7:00PM and will resume on Monday, October 15, 2007 from 8:00AM until service time.

Interment will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery.

A resident of Erath, Mrs. Broussard died at the Heart Hospital of Lafayette on October 13, 2007 at 7:30AM.

She is survived by her son Barry Broussard and his wife Shawnette of Lafayette; two daughters, Kristy Pitt and her husband Blaine of Maurice and Dana Broussard and her friend Tiffany Groetsch of Lafayette; grandsons, Brennen Bernard and his wife Kelly of Youngsville, Payton Broussard of Lafayette, Cooper Broussard of Lafayette and Matthew Pitt of Maurice; granddaughters; Brittany Broussard of Lafayette and Marissa Stoute of Maurice, ; great-granddaughter Lauren Bernard of Youngsville; her former husband Russell Broussard; a special friend Tina Prejean and her mother Hillmay Dronet Thomas of Erath. Also surviving is her sister, Rebecca Falgout of Erath and her brother Sedwick Thomas of Abbeville.

She is preceded in death by her father, Manuel Fernandez; a daughter, Melanie Broussard and a son Jason Broussard.

David Funeral Home of Erath will be handling the arrangements.
