Erath " A Mass of Christian Burial for Patrick Paul Bouillion - Mr. B , 55, will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, August 9, 2008 at St. Peters Catholic Church in New Iberia with Fr. Charles Langlois officiating. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Erath beginning Friday, August 8, 2008 from 10:00AM until 9:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume on Saturday, August 9, 2008 from 8:00AM until time of services.
Mr. B passed away Wednesday, August 6, 2008 at his residence. He was born and raised in Erath. He served in the U.S. Navy and was accepted to the Naval Academy, but decided to return to Louisiana to pursue teaching. He retired with 20 years of public service and spent the last 12 years teaching at Catholic High School until the time of his death. Mr. B taught math, but also taught life values. He was actively involved in Quiz Bowl and other Academic programs. He had a passion for life that spread to everyone who knew him. He was a gentle soul who touched many lives throughout his lifetime. He loved spending time with his grandson and going to the casino. He will be deeply missed, but always remembered by those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
He is survived by his mother, Ludie LeBlanc Bouillion of Erath; his daughter, Sara Winn and her husband, Brandon, of Bellevue, Nebraska; his brother, Dennis Bouillion, Jr. and his wife, Jackie, of Scott; his sister, Ramona Dubois and her husband, Ronald, of Kaplan; his grandson, Brennen Winn of Bellevue, Nebraska; his former wife, Mary Bouillion of Rayne; and numerous nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dennis Bouillion, Sr.
Donations may be made to his family and/or Catholic High School in his memory.
