LYDIA ~ Services for Mrs. Walter A. Salv LeBlanc, the former Mamie Migues, 89, will be conducted at 2:00 PM Monday, September 8, 2008 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Broussard Cemetery in Bayou Petit Anse. Visiting hours will be observed Monday, September 8, 2008 from 9:00 AM until the time of service at David Funeral Home. A native of Franklin and a resident of Lydia, Mrs. LeBlanc died at 5:07 PM Thursday, August 28, 2008, at Maison Teche Nursing Home in Jeanerette. Mamie loved to cook for her family. She is survived by her daughter: Elaine Derouen and husband Johnny of Lydia; granddaughters, Jessie Norris of New Iberia and Sandra Guillot of Coteau; grandsons, Mike Delcambre of Broussard and Casey Delcambre of Cade; and 10 great-grandchildren. Mrs. LeBlanc was preceded in death by her husband, Walter A. Salv LeBlanc; daughter, Waldene LeBlanc Delcambre; parents, Norbert and Bertha Mae Rawlins Migues; brother, Dewey Migues; sisters, Mabel Uze, Ida Uze and Velma Boudreaux; and great-granddaughter, Kaitlin Guillot.
