Loving Father, Grandfather, Son and Brother New Iberia " Funeral Services will be conducted for John Baptist J.B Conner, Age 68 at 10:00AM Monday September 8, 2008 at David Funeral Home Chapel with Father Charles Langlois officiating. Interment will follow in Holy Family Mausoleum. Visitation will be Sunday September 7, 2008 from 4:00PM until time of service. A Rosary will be prayed Sunday September 7, 2008 at 7:00PM. The funeral home will remain open all night. He died Monday September 1, 2008 at 7:00PM in Loreauville. A native of Lafayette Mr. Conner had been a longtime resident of New Iberia. He was retired from Voorhies supply. He enjoyed watching TV and playing dominos. Survivors include two daughters; Susan C. Walsh of New Iberia and Danelle C. Frederick and husband Leo J. II of Loreauville, his parents John M. and Oline Touchet Conner of New Iberia, one brother; Wilfred Conner of New Iberia, one sister; Mona Stevens of New Iberia, five grandchildren; Katrina and Kallam Darby and Alyx Frederick all of Loreauville, Heather Conner and Amanda Walsh both of New Iberia, two great grandchildren; Laurie Williamson and Zoe Darby both of Loreauville and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Diane Tilbury Conner. Pallbearers will be family and friends. David Funeral Home, 1101 Trotter Street, New Iberia, La.
