Abbeville - A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Daleand Joseph Mouton,63,will be held at 2:00PM on Friday,September 19,2008 at St.Anne's Catholic Church in Cow Island,with Father Randy Morrow officiating. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Abbeville on Thursday, September 11, 2008 from 10:00AM until 10:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume on Friday,September 19,2008 from 8:00AM until service time. Interment will follow at St.Anne's Cemetery in Cow Island. A native of Kaplan and resident of Abbeville, Mr.Mouton passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at 3:15AM at the Southwest Louisiana War Veterans Home in Jennings, Louisiana. He was a retired off-shore crane operator. He was a Navy Veteran serving in the Vietnam Conflict. Mr.Mouton is survived by one daughter, Denise Mouton of Abbeville; two sons, Rayburn Mouton and Daleand Mouton II, both of Abbeville; five grandsons, Drake and Hayes Abshire, both of Abbeville, Austin Mouton of Breaux Bridge, and Trevor and Hunter Mouton, both of Kaplan; two granddaughters, Tyra and Ashton Mouton, both of Breaux Bridge; and one brother, O'Neal Mouton and wife, Shirley of Abbeville. He was preceded in death by his parents, Loveless and Verna Herrington Mouton. Serving as pallbearers will be Marshall Hebert,Donald Miller,Nicholas Mouton,Chris Mouton,Byron Mouton,and Neil Mouton.
