Loving Aunt Jeanerette " Funeral services will be conducted for Mrs. Bernard Rinker, the former Ruby LeMaire, 95, Thursday, Aug. 23, 2007 at 11:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Father Ed Degeyter officiating. Interment will follow in St. John Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2007 at 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and resume on Thursday, Aug. 23, 2007 at 8:00 AM until services. A rosary will be prayed in the funeral home on Wednesday at 7:00 PM. A native and lifelong resident of Jeanerette, Mrs. Rinker died on Monday, Aug. 20, 2007 at 10:17 PM in a New Iberia hospital. She was a former member of Book and Hobby Club and the Cruising Cajuns. Prior to her husbands death, Mrs. Ruby and her husband enjoyed many camping trips in their motor coach. She was very generous in supporting many organizations and charities. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Rinker; her parents, Ulysse LeMaire and Cedelise Hebert LeMaire; her sisters, Lena Landry, Rita Wormser, Isabel Mouret, Eula Savoy and Claire Everette Varisco; her brothers, Lovic LeMaire, Levy LeMaire, Fabian LeMaire, Sr. and Clarence LeMaire. Pallbearers will be Patrick Napier, Fabian LeMaire, Jr., Charles Mouret, Jr., Brian Napier, Chuck Napier and John Napier. Honorary pallbearers will be Douglas Robicheaux, Sr., Hartman LeJeune, Albert Livaudais, Mark LeMaire, James LeMaire, Guy Landry and Lee McGee.
