Ivy J. Hebert

Lafayette " A Celebration of Life Service for Ivy Joseph Hebert, 89, will be held at a later date. Ivy passed away on Monday, December 1, 2009 at a local hospital. He lived at Patterson Nursing Home in Patterson, Louisiana for 12 years and Magnolia Estates in Lafayette for past three years. His first-cousin, Agnes Barilleaux-Hood, was his caregiver for 25 years and her daughter, Gwendolyn Barilleaux, has been his caregiver for the last 15 years. He is survived by his nieces, nephews and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Velmont and Eva Waguespack Hebert; his brothers, J.C. Hebert and Noel Kilroy Hebert; his sister, Mary Hebert Aucoin; his step-brother, Whitney Hebert; and his step-sister, Gertrude Charette.
