Abbeville " Funeral Services for Jessy Lee Boudreaux Sr.,78, will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2009 at 10:00AM, at the David Funeral Home Chapel in Abbeville with Fr. Brad Guillory officiating. Visitation will begin on Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at 5:00PM until 9:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume on Thursday, October 1, 2009 beginning at 8:00AM until the time of services. Interment will follow at St. Pauls Cemetery. A native of Lafayette Parish and resident of Abbeville, Jessy died on Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at 12:50AM at Abbeville General Hospital. He was a retired mechanic who worked with Langlinais Ford Tractors for over 38 years. He is survived by his wife Velta Touchet Boudreaux of Abbeville; his sons Donald Boudreaux and wife Ellen of Erath, Jessy Lee Boudreaux Jr. and wife Rachel of Nunez; his daughter Elizabeth Boudreaux of Abbeville; his brothers Marion Boudreaux of Abbeville and Robert Boudreaux of Las Vegas; his sister Jo Ann Trahan of Abbeville; five grandchildren, Brodie Boudreaux, Jake Boudreaux, Shawnee Boudreaux, Erica Ryder and Nick Ryder; and three great grandchildren, Lindsay Boudreaux, Ali Hebert and Jace Ryder. He was preceded in death by his parents Whitney Boudreaux and Alice Broussard Boudreaux and his two brothers, Gerald and Michael Boudreaux. Serving as pallbearers will be Donald Boudreaux, Jessy Lee Boudreaux Jr., Nick Ryder, Brodie Boudreaux, Jake Boudreaux and Pierre Hebert.
