LOVING MOTHER AND GRANDMOTHER Jeanerette, LA"Funeral services for Mrs. Horton J. Guillotte, the former Myrtle Andre, 84, will be conducted on Monday, October 1, 2007 at 11:30 A.M. in David Funeral Home, 400 Provost Street, Jeanerette, LA. The Reverend Ed Degeyter will officiate. Interment will follow in Beau Pre Cemetery. Visitation will be observed on Monday, October 1, 2007 from 9:00 A.M. until service time in the funeral home, with a rosary to be recited Monday at 11:00 A.M. Mrs. Guillotte passed away on Wednesday, September 26, 2007 at 5:30 P.M. in her daughters Jeanerette residence. A native of Savannah, GA, Mrs. Guillotte had been a resident of St. Bernard and Jeanerette for many years. Survivors include her daughters, Priscilla Guillotte of Jeanerette and Susan G. Rice and husband, Philip M. Rice of Algiers; sisters, Marguerite Hebert, Maude Gary, and Patricia Trimble, all of Jeanerette; grandchildren, Amanda Henry and husband, Kenny of Albuquerque, NM and Todd Rice of Algiers; great-grandchild, Kelly Henry of Albuquerque, NM; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her husband, Horton Joseph Guillotte; parents, Joe and Eva Daigle Andre; and sisters, Anna Mae Rosamond, Vivian LeBlanc, Mabel Mendoza, Geraldine Hebert, and Mildred Barras. Serving as pallbearers are Andre Rosamond, J.B. Rosamond, Kenny Henry, Todd Rice, Charles Stroud, and Lanny Brother Villenuea. David Funeral Home of Jeanerette is in charge of arrangements.
