Betty Eileen Lerille

Lafayette ~ A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Mrs. Norman Lerille, the former Betty Eileen Hennegan, at St. Annes Catholic Church in Youngsville on Monday, August 18, 2008 at 10:00AM. Father Jason Mouton will be officiating. Visitation will begin on Sunday, August 17, 2008 at 12:00PM until 10:00PM, with a Rosary being recited at 7:00PM and will resume on Monday, August 18, 2008 at 8:00AM to service time. Interment will follow at St. Annes Mausoleum.
A native of Lake Charles and a resident of Youngsville, Betty passed away on August 15, 2008 at 12:00AM in Lafayette General Medical Center, Betty was in law enforcement for over 21 years, having worked for the Jefferson Parish Sheriffs Office, the City of Gretna Police Department and the Rapides Parish Sheriffs Department.
Mrs. Lerille is survived by her husband Norman Lerille of Youngsville; daughters, Melissa L. Speyrer of Maurice and Rebecca E. Laviolette and her husband Coby of Youngsville; brother, Timothy John Hennegan and his wife Joan of Marrero: sister Connie Agent Moore and her husband Kerry of Kentucky; granddaughter, Bethani Morgan Speyrer; sister-in-law, Mary Hennegan, Patricia Tilletson and her husband Lawrence, Sr. and Nancy Lerille and her husband Wayne W. Lerille.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James (Mike) and Elgin Branton Hennegan and a brother, James Mikell Hennegan.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Lerille, James Hennegan, Justin Hennegan, Randy Guilliot, A.J. Alwert and Danny Trosclair.
David Funeral Home of Lafayette; 316 Youngsville Highway (337) 837~9887 will be handling the arrangements.
