LOVING SISTER AND AUNT

New Iberia"Funeral services for Mrs. Ulysse Thibodeaux, the former Annie Coon Dugas, 88, will be held on Tuesday, September 30, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. in David Funeral Home Chapel, New Iberia. Deacon John Sarkies will officiate. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Loreauville.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 29, 2008 from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. in David Funeral Home, and will continue on Tuesday from 8:00 A.M. until service time in the funeral home.

Mrs. Thibodeaux passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2008 at 6:50 A.M. in a New Iberia hospital.

A native of New Iberia, Mrs. Thibodeaux was a member of Nativity of Our Lady Catholic Church. She was a waitress at Mulates Restaurant in Breaux Bridge for over 30 years. Fondly known to all who knew her as Coon , Mrs. Thibodeaux was an avid dancer, an accomplished cook, and enjoyed sewing. Her greatest joy, however, was visiting with friends and family.

Survivors include her nieces and nephews, Diana O. Stansbury and husband, Norman of New Iberia, Curtis Oubre of Lafayette, Roy Vincent, Jr. and wife, Cherry of Loreauville, Terry V. Robicheaux and husband, Chris of Breaux Bridge, Bobby Vincent and wife, Tammy of New Iberia, Carol E. Broussard, Jr. and wife, Christi of Houston, TX, Dale Broussard and wife, Dawn of New Iberia, Chad Stansbury of New Iberia, Stacy Stansbury and wife, Leah of Teague, TX, Brandi Vincent of New Iberia, Andrew Broussard of New Iberia, Brandon Broussard of New Iberia, Brennan Broussard of New Iberia, Jamie Vincent of New Iberia, and Angel Vincent and husband, Waylon Cole of New Iberia.

Preceding Mrs. Thibodeaux in death were her husband, Ulysse Thibodeaux; parents, ONeil and Ozea Chataignier Dugas; sisters, Irene Oubre, Gladys Broussard, and Agnes Vincent; and brother, Verness Dugas.

Serving as pallbearers are Norman Stansbury, Chad Stansbury, Dale Broussard, and other friends and family members.

David Funeral Home of New Iberia, 1101 Trotter Street, 369-6336 is in charge of arrangements.
