Janell St. Amant Touchet

December 12, 1946 — October 2, 2009

Abbeville " A Mass of Christian Burial for Janell St. Amant Touchet, 62, will be held at 1:00PM on Monday, October 5, 2009 at St. Theresa Catholic Church with Fr. Guillory officiating. Visitation will be at David Funeral Home of Abbeville beginning on Sunday, October 4, 2009 from 5:00PM until 8:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume on Monday, October 5, 2009 from 8:00AM until the time of the services. Interment will follow at St. Paul Cemetery. A native of Abbeville and a resident of Lake Charles Mrs. Touchet died at 4:47PM at a Lake Charles Hospital. She was employed with the Vermilion Parish School Board before she graduated and retired from there after over 43 years of service. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, and doing needle point. She is survived by a daughter, Monica and her husband Scott Mouton of Lake Charles; three granddaughters, Courtney Mouton, Alyson Mouton, and Madelyn Mouton all of Lake Charles; two sisters, Betty and her husband Joseph Suire of Lake Charles and Diana and her husband Pat Guidry of Abbeville; three nephews, Keith Suire, Kevin Suire, and Chad Guidry; and a niece, Amanda Guidry. She was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Edia Morvant St. Amant. Serving as pallbearers will be Pat Guidry, Joseph Suire, Chad Guidry, Scott Mouton, and Keith Suire, and Randy Lege. Honorary pallbearer will be Brady LeBlanc. David Funeral Home of Abbeville at 2600 Charity St. (337)893-3777 will be handling the arrangements.
