Loving wife, mother and grandmother

JEANERETTE - Services for Mrs. Alphonse M. Landry Sr., the former Mary Diane Landry, 64, will be conducted at 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 2, 3007 at David Funeral Home Chapel in Jeanerette with Deacon Theo Landry officiating. Interment will follow in St. John Cemetery.

Visiting hours will be observed Tuesday, October 2, 2007 from 9:00 AM until the time of service with a rosary being recited at 10:00 AM at David Funeral Home in Jeanerette.

A native of Ferryday and a resident of Jeanerette, Mrs. Landry died at 7:25 PM Sunday, September 30, 2007, at Iberia Medical Center.

Mrs. Landry was a resident of Maison Teche Nursing Home in Jeanerette. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo and dancing.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Alphonse M. Landry Sr. of Jeanerette; sons, Scott Landry Sr. and wife Nancy of St. Martinville, and Alphonse Michael Landry Jr. and Patricia of New Iberia; daughters, Sandra L. Judice and husband Patrick, and Mary Kathy L. Menard and husband John, all of New Iberia; 11 grandchildren, Hollie, Scotty, Christopher, Brandon, Jeremy, Joni, Jaclyn and Jayna Landry, Taylor Menard, Bryan and Brock Brignac; a great-grandson, Jeramya Landry; two brothers, Larry Hendry of Tatum, Texas, and Jimmy Hendry of New Iberia; and a sister, Julie Landry of New Iberia.

Mrs. Landry was preceded in death by her parents, Owena Hendry and Dan Fredric; and a son, Kerry Landry.

Pallbearers will be Scott, Michael, Jeremy and Scotty Landry, Bryan and Brock Brignac.

Honorary pallbearers will be Christopher Landry, John Menard. Brandon Landry and Patrick Judice.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Mrs. Landrys name to Hospice of Acadiana, 2600 Johnston Street, Suite 200, Lafayette, Louisiana 70503-3240.
