Erath - Funeral Services will be held for Brittlyn Claire Willis, 7, on Monday, November 3, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. at David Funeral Home of Erath with Joseph Boutin and Marcus Breaux officiating. Visitation will be at David Funeral Home of Erath beginning on Sunday, November 2, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. until time of services on Monday, November 3, 2008. The funeral home will remain open all night. Interment will be in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery in Erath.

A native and resident of Erath, Brit-Brit passed away on Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at Childrens Hospital in New Orleans. Brit-Brit enjoyed eating, playing outside, being at school, laughing, being at church, dancing, playing with her dog, Baby Girl, and spending time with Mom and Dad. She was in Special Olympics and the Buddy Walk. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and everyone that met her.

She is survived by her parents, Hector Willis, Jr. of Kaplan and Natasha Willis of Erath. She also leaves behind her sister, Alexis Desormeaux of Erath; her maternal grandmother, Ruth Desormeaux; her paternal grandparents, Hector Willis, Sr. and his wife, Roxanne and Polly Eddington and her husband, Rodney; and her aunts and uncles, Ramona Broussard, Rhonda and Todd Mitchell, Jennifer and Jimmy Broussard, Gardy Desormeaux, Joseph Eddington, Bryan Eddington, Harley Willis and Rhesa Vincent. She is also survived by Natashas companion, Jeramie LeBlanc and his daughter, Jaylee LeBlanc, and Hector Jr.s companion, Desiree Dartez.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Curtis Desormeaux.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jordan Broussard, Joseph Eddington, Aaron Broussard and Bryan Eddington. Honorary pallbearers will be Gardy Desormeaux, Jeramie LeBlanc, Cleo Babin, Jimmy Broussard and Todd Mitchell.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to handle the funeral expenses.
