Roy J. Faucheaux

March 21, 1924 — November 1, 2008

Loving Husband, Father and Grandfather New Iberia " Funeral Services will be conducted for Roy J. Faucheaux, Age 84, at 2:00PM Monday November 3, 2008 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with Father Salvino Ruben Primor officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be Sunday November 2, 2008 from 4:00PM until 10:00PM with a Rosary being prayed at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume Monday from 8:00AM until service time. He died Saturday November 1, 2008 at 1:30PM in a New Iberia hospital. A native Loreauville and a longtime resident of New Iberia Mr. Faucheaux retired from Texaco after 45 years of service. He loved to cook, fish, camp and talk to people. Survivors include his wife, Louella Leblanc Faucheaux, children; Danny Faucheaux and wife Karen, Tommy Faucheaux and Wanda Faucheaux all of New Iberia, one sister Rita Echels of New Iberia, seven grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents; George and Celena Dugas Faucheaux, children; Ricky and Robin Faucheaux, brothers and sisters; Louis, Henry and Jules Faucheaux, Odette Hebert, Cecile Hebert, Clara Guillotte and May Guillotte. Pallbearers will be Shane, Shawn, Brandon, Blair, Lacey, Stephanie and Beavon Faucheaux and one honorary pallbearer, Trevor Faucheaux.
