Brenda Floyd Broussard

New Iberia " Funeral Services will be conducted for Mrs. James H. Broussard the former Brenda B.J. Floyd, Age 61, at 4:00PM Monday, October 6, 2008 at David Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Glenn Floyd officiating. Visitation will be Monday October 6, 2008 from 10:00AM until time of service.

She died Saturday October 4, 2008 at 12:00PM at her residence in New Iberia.

A native of Magee, Mississippi Mrs. Broussard had been a resident of New Iberia most of her life. She loved gardening and being with her family.

Survivors include her husband; James H. Broussard of New Iberia, two daughters; Cheryl B. Buteau and husband Troy of Cade and Charmaine B. Abate and husband Brian of Erath, one son; Aaron J. Broussard of New Iberia, her Mother; Mary Bennie welsh Floyd of New Iberia, grandchildren; Edwin James Buteau of Lafayette, Brittney Joyce Girard of Erath, Tyler Jeffery Broussard of Youngsville and Brenan James Abate of Erath, three brothers; Glenn Floyd of Menden Hall, Mississippi and Timmy and Billy Floyd of New Iberia, one sister; Patricia F. Parks of New Iberia. She was preceded in death by her Father; Prentiss Floyd.

Pallbearers will be Aaron Broussard, Charles Parks, Edwin and Troy Buteau, Timmy Shane Floyd and Tyler Broussard.

Honorary pallbearers will be Scott Parks and Michael Bubba Parks.
