Robert Calvin Scott

New Iberia"Funeral services for Mr. Robert Calvin Bob Scott, 78, will be held on Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Interment with military honors rendered by V.F.W. Post 1982 will follow in Holy Family Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2008 from 10:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. in David Funeral Home, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. Visitation will continue on Wednesday from 8:00 A.M. until service time in the funeral home. Mr. Scott passed away on Sunday, December 7, 2008 at 5:16 P.M. in a New Iberia hospital. Bob was born in Mineral Wells, TX to Robert Houston Scott and Odessa Majors Scott. Bob attended U.S.L. (now U.L.-Lafayette) and received his B.A. degree in education. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, having served in the U.S. Air Force and stationed in England. Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Mary Fritella Scott; son, Robert Nicholas Scott and wife, Evangeline; daughter, Maria Louise Scott; and granddaughter, Nicole Angelene Scott, all of New Iberia. Bobs family and friends will serve as pallbearers. David Funeral Home of New Iberia, 1101 Trotter Street, 369-6336 is in charge of arrangement
