Loving Mother and Grandmother New Iberia"Funeral services for Gloria Mae "Glo" Flores, 72, will be held on Thursday, September 27, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. in David Funeral Home Chapel. Deacon Theo Landry will officiate. Entombment will follow in Memorial Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 26, 2007 from 5:00 P.M. until service time on Thursday in David Funeral Home, with a rosary to be recited on Wednesday at 7:00 P.M. in the funeral home. Ms. Flores passed away on Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at 9:25 P.M. in her sons Jeanerette residence. A native of Coteau, Ms. Flores had lived in Erath for many years. She enjoyed playing cards and Yahtzee, and was an excellent cook who loved and cared for her family. Survivors include her daughters, Patricia Pully Touchet and husband, Calvin of Erath, Connie Domingues and husband, Tony of Erath, Linda Maturin and husband, Ellis, Jr. of Erath, Debbie Duplantis and husband, David of New Iberia, and Barbara Dupuy and husband, Don Guidry of New Iberia; sons, Louis Dupuy and wife, Lydia Gonzales of Jeanerette, Mark Dupuy and wife, Angie of Erath, and Clint Dupuy and wife, Tammy Hebert of Abbeville; brothers, Leroy Flores of St. Martinville and Roy Flores and wife, Barbara of New Iberia; 28 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Preceding her in death were her husband, Gaston T. Dupuy; parents, Joseph and Alida Hulin Flores; sisters, Aileen Flores and Bertha Johnson; brothers, Elmo and Ulgier Flores; and stepfather, Clarence Hebert. Serving as pallbearers are Corey Touchet, Ronald Mendoza, Tommy Dupuy, Deric Duplantis, Shawn Domingues, Gaston Dupuy, Joey Maturin, and Servondo Gonzales. David Funeral Home of New Iberia, 1101 Trotter Street, New Iberia, LA is in charge of arrangements.
