RYNELLA - Services for Ryan Bubba Touchet, 21, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, September 13, 2007 at St. Marcellus Catholic Church in Rynella with Deacon Theo Landry officiating. Entombment will follow in Holy Family Mausoleum.

Visiting hours will be observed Tuesday, September 11, 2007 from 2 p.m. until 10 p.m. at David Funeral Home. Visitation will resume Wednesday, September 12, 2007 from 9 a.m. until services Thursday, September 13, 2007. The funeral home will remain open all night Wednesday. A rosary will be recited Wednesday, September 12, 2007 at 5 p.m. at David Funeral Home.

A native of Lafayette and a resident of New Iberia, Mr. Touchet died 5:55 p.m. Sunday, September 2, 2007, at his residence.

Ryan was a 2003 graduate of Westgate High School. He loved swimming, hydro sliding, water sports and physical workouts. Ryan worked as a crew supervisor with Armand Construction for four years.

He is survived by his father, Gerald Touchet Sr. of New Iberia; mother, Juanita D. Ransonet of New Iberia; sisters, Catina Touchet and boyfriend Brent Romero of Broussard, Kristy Falgout and husband Anthony of Kaplan, and Crissy Wesley and husband Roman of Youngsville; brothers, Gerald Touchet Jr. and girlfriend Annie, and Seth Touchet and fiance Crystal Walker, all of New Iberia; step-father, Edward Ransonet of New Iberia; maternal grandmother, Juanita Duhon of Coteau; girlfriend, Catie Provost of New Iberia; nieces and nephews, Kylie Touchet, Kaitlyn Touchet, Cameron Falgout, Kelsey Falgout, Alexia, Alayah, Aaliyah, and Alivia Wesley; aunt, Judy Touchet of Scott; godmother, Lisa Latiolais and husband Frank of Youngsville; aunt, Diane Champagne of Coteau; and uncles, Roland Duhon and wife Wanda of New Iberia, Joseph Duhon Jr. and companion Rita Dore of New Iberia, Mark Duhon and wife Melissa of Coteau, and David Duhon and companion Tammy Romero of Coteau.

Ryan was preceded in death by his sister, Rebecca Becky Touchet; paternal grandparents, Euel Touchet and Eula Blanchard; and maternal grandfather, Joseph Duhon.

Pallbearers will be Seth Touchet, Gerald Touchet Jr., Craig Duhon, Heath Latiolais, Jacob Breaux and Josh Breaux.

Honorary pallbearers will be Brent Romero, Anthony Falgout, Roman Wesley Jr., Mark Duhon, Brock Mason, Dale Vennard, Micah Vennard, Christian Vice and Elliott Armand.
