Lafayette " A Mass of Christian Burial For Joseph Minus Breaux will be held on Friday, September 7, 2007 at 10:00AM at St. Anne Catholic Church with Fr. Jason Mouton officiating. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Thursday, September 6, 2007 from 11:00AM until 9:00PM, with a recitation of the rosary by Deacon Cody Miller at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume on Friday, September 7, 2007 at 8:00AM until the time of the service. Interment will follow at St. Anne Mausoleum.

Mr. Minus a native and resident of Youngsville died on Wednesday, September 5, 2007 at 6:18AM at his residence. He served his country in the Army during World War II, was a member of the Youngsville VFW, and was a life long farmer. He also enjoyed gardening.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Reela Alphonse Breaux of Youngsville; three sons, Russell Breaux, Sr. and his wife Anne of Bayou Lourse, Jimmy Breaux and his wife Brenda of Carencro, and Kenneth Louis Breaux and his wife Linda of Youngsville; a niece, Janet and her husband Floyd James Breaux of Youngsville, nine grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Edith Maturin Breaux, and a brother, Winus Breaux.

Serving as pallbearers will be Joshua Breaux, Rusty Breaux, Kevin Breaux, Kelly Breaux, Trey Breaux, and Chad Comeaux.

Serving as Honorary Pallbearer is Clarence Prejean.
