Erath " A private service for Patrick Landry, 67, will be held Saturday, September 8, 2007 at David Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Erath on Saturday, September 8, 2007 from 10:00AM until 12:00PM. Mr. Patrick a native and resident of Erath died Wednesday, September 5, 2007 at 3:50PM at Lafayette Heart Hospital. He was a Physical Rehab Nurse for over 22 years before he semi retired and started Landrys Horse Ranch. It was well known that he carried a great passion for his horses. Don't be steered wrong, his life was full of adventure and was lived to the fullest. He was a very unique man with a genuine love for his family and friends. But the greatest part is that he was loved by many. He is survived by his wife, Jackie L. Landry of Erath; five sons, Kurt Landry of Phoenix, AZ, Scott Landry of Morgan City, Aaron Landry of Lafayette, Ben Landry of Lafayette, and Timothy Dudley of Mishawaka, IN; a grandson, Conner Landry of Morgan City; two granddaughters, JoAnna and Kate Landry both of Phoenix, AZ; a brother, Reed Landry of Gatlinburg, TN; and a sister, Linda L. Trahan of Abbeville. He is preceded in death by his parents, Curtis J. and Marie Suire Landry. David Funeral Home of Erath will be handling the arrangements.
