Anna Mae Olivier Neuville

Loreauville " Funeral services will be conducted for Mrs. Harold J. Neuville, Sr. the former Anna Mae Olivier, age 80, on Wednesday October 14, 2009 at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Fr. Paul Onugebe officiating. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.

A native of St. Martinville and a resident of Loreauville, Mrs. Neuville died Sunday October 11, 2009 at 3:30 AM in a New Iberia Health Care Facility.

Visitation will begin on Tuesday October 13, 2009 from 2:00 PM until 10:00 PM and will resume on Wednesday October 14, 2009 from 8:00 AM until service. A rosary will be recited on Tuesday October 13, 2009 at 7:00 PM in the funeral home.

Anna known to her brothers as Mim will always be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She dedicated her life to all of her family, always putting others first before herself. Her talents included sewing, embroidering, and cooking. She especially found joy in nature and the outdoors with added contentment in her daily coffee socials with Cathy and Rose, which helped her remain positive throughout her last months of her life. It was truly a blessing to have had such caring neighbors who were there when she needed them most. Although her loss will be felt tremendously by her family, we trust that her spirit rest with the Lord.

She is survived by her husband; Harold J. Neuville, Sr. of Loreauville, her children; Harold J. Neuville, Jr. and his wife Kerry Dale of Loreauville, Clyde J. Neuville, Sr. and his wife Cathy of Loreauville, Todd J. Neuville and his wife Jackie of New Iberia, Rita N. Levet and her husband Ronald of Sulphur, Nancy N White and her husband Dale of Coteau Holmes, Katie N. Minvielle and her husband Stephan of New Iberia, brothers; Allen Olivier and his wife Lydia of New Iberia, Huey Olivier and his wife Joann of Catahoula, Johnny Olivier and his wife Sheila of Catahoula, 18 Grandchildren, 14 Great-Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her Granddaughter; Holly Ann White, parents; Louis A. and Ange Marie Broussard Olivier.

Pallbearers will be; Bryan Levet, Brandon Neuville, Clyde Neuville, Jr., Scott White, Kyle Minvielle, Shawn Neuville.

Honorary Pallbearers; Cale Neuville, Brent Levet, Ted Neuville, Sr.,Joey Neuville, Justin Neuville.

The family would like to thank all the staffs of Dr. Rinaldi, Radiology Associates of New Iberia, Oncology of New Iberia, Lourdes Hospital of Lafayette, New Iberia Manor North, and Hospice of Acadiana of Lafayette, LA.
