Lafayette " Funeral Services for Kevin Redneck Wortham, 33, will be held at 1:00PM on Sunday, October 7, 2007 at David Funeral Chapel of Lafayette. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Sunday, October 7, 2007 from 10:00am until 4:00PM. Graveside Services will be held at 1:00PM on Monday, October 8, 2007 at Roselawn Cemetery in Calhoun, LA. Kevin a native of Columbia, LA and a resident of Broussard died on Thursday, October 4, 2007 in Broussard. Redneck, a dedicated father, a son, a caring brother, and a loyal fun loving friend lived life to its fullest. A father who loved his only daughter unconditionally. A son who loved his mother and honored his fathers name, even though pride often wouldnt let him show it. A brother who had an open heart and who offered a hand when it was needed. A friend who made us laugh, who did not intend to make us cry. That is why we say until we meet again, for we never truly say goodbye. He is survived by his daughter, Daelyn Wortham of Lafayette; his mother, Deborah Canterbury Wortham of Texas City, TX; a brother, Michael Canterbury of Texas City, TX; three sisters, Kristi and her husband Ty Howard of Broussard, Melinda Wortham of Youngsville, and Sheena Canterbury of Webster, TX. He is also survived by a special friend that played a significant roll as a surrogate parent, Leetha Robert; four extended brothers, Josh and Jason Lopez of West Monroe, and Dean and Keith Odom of Monroe; and an extended sister, Mellissa Richard of Eros, LA He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Wortham; and Clint Lopez who played a special role as a surrogate father. Serving as pallbearers will be Danny Reboul, Jason Lopez, Josh Lopez, Dean Odom, Michael Canterbury, William Robert. David Funeral Home of Lafayette will be handling the arrangements
