Lafayette - Visitation for James Warren Jim Bullock will be held Friday, September 14, 2007 from 5:00PM to 9:00PM in the evening at David Funeral Home (316 Youngsville Highway, Lafayette, La.). Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday morning at 10:00AM at United Methodist Church of the Covenant on East Martial Avenue also in Lafayette. The Reverend Chris Blanchard will conduct the service. Interment will Follow at St. Elizabeth Cemetery in Paincourtville, Louisiana. Born June 8, 1927 in Paris, Arkansas, Jim died September 11, 2007 surrounded by his family in his Lafayette, Louisiana home. Jim was 80 years old. During WWII, Jim proudly served in the Navy aboard the U.S.S. Iowa. He retired as manager of Transworld Drilling Company after more than 30 years of service. Jim is survived by his wife, the former Carole Landry; two daughters, Carole j. Wilson and Jennifer Bullock; one son, Royce Lane Bullock; one sister, Mae Farley and one brother, Wallace Bullock. Jim also leaves behind four granddaughters, five grandsons, three great-granddaughters and one great-grandson. He is preceded in death by his parents, Warren W. and Addie Bullock Martin; a beloved daughter, Laurie B. Johnson; a great-grandson, Zack Johnson; his sisters Flossie Bell, Elizabeth Citty, Bea Parsons and Lillian King and brothers, John Bullock, George Bullock and J. Curtis Bullock. Pallbearers will be Zack Johnson, Vernon Bullock, Lazarus Bullock, Gene Sorrells, Allen Landry and Elliott Landry. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the United Methodist Church of the Covenant Memorial Fund or to Hospice of Acadiana. The family extends sincere thanks to Joseph E.
