Erath " A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Minos Mulate Menard, the former Lula Mae Lange, age 83, will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church on Friday November 7, 2008 at 1:00 PM with Father Wayne Duet officiating. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Erath beginning Thursday November 6, 2008 from 3:00 PM until 10:00 PM with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00 PM. Visitation will resume on Friday November 7, 2008 at 8:00 AM until services. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery in Erath. A native of Vermilion Parish and a resident of Erath, Mrs. Menard passed away on November 4, 2008 at 11:35 PM at a local nursing home. She worked at Heritage Manor Nursing Home as a housekeeper for twenty-one years and was also a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Society. She is survived by her two sons; Wilmer Joe Menard and Russell Menard both of Lafayette; seven grandchildren, Jared Menard, Nicholas Menard, Brock Menard, Savannah Menard, Chase Menard, Whitnie Menard and Britnie Menard; one brother, Curley Lange of Port Naches, TX and a sister Bertha David also of Port Naches, TX. She is preceded in death by her husband, Minos (Mulate) Menard; parents, Whitney and Paula Lopez Lange; son, Whitney Menard; brother, Dudley Lange and two sisters, Lucy Romero and Lydie Trahan. Pallbearers will be Jared Menard, Timmy Romero, Chase Menard, Jerry Clark, Todd Bonin, Eric Robicheaux. David Funeral Home of Erath at 209 East Putnam Street (337) 937-0405 will be handling the arrangements.
