Born in Covington and currently a resident of Youngsville, Marcus passed away at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at Lafayette General Medical Center. He loved techno music and playing on the computer. He enjoyed having a good time with his family and friends. Marcus was big-hearted, always had a smile, and never met a stranger. Saddened by his transition we are: mother, Marie Dutsch of Youngsville, LA: father, James Bennett of Bogalusa, LA; sister, Fallon Dutsch of Covington, LA; maternal grandfather, Arnold Brumfield of Franklinton, LA; paternal grandmother, Mary Punkin Talbot of Bogalusa, LA; paternal grandfather, Norman Bennett and wife, Mary, of Baton Rouge, LA; two uncles, Billy Brumfield and wife, Trish, of Franklinton, LA and Jimmie Brumfield and wife, Renee, of Baton Rouge, LA; cousin, Sara Brumfield of Baton Rouge, LA; and the many friends he loved and laughed with.
