Erath " A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church for Mrs. Ode Suire, the former Inez Borel, 98, on Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at 10:00AM. Father Wayne Duet will be officiating. Visitation began on Monday, December 8, 2008 at 3:00PM until 9:00PM with a Rosary being recited by the Catholic Daughters of Erath at 4:00PM and by the KC Council 3872 at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume on Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at 8:00AM until service time. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery. A native of Intracoastal City and a resident of Erath, Mrs. Suire passed away at 12:10PM on Sunday, December 7, 2008 at Abbeville General Hospital. She worked in the kitchen at Menards Restaurant in Erath for many years. She loved playing cards and Pokeno. She is survived by her granddaughter, Bettina Tina Desormeaux and husband, Tony of Delcambre; her son-in-law, Elwood Paul LeBlanc of Delcambre; her great-granddaughters, Brittany Nicole Desormeaux and Callie Elizabeth Desormeaux, both of Delcambre; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ode Suire; her parents, Rodolphe and Victoria Cuvillier Borel; her daughter, Beverly Jane Suire LeBlanc; and numerous brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers will be Marion Borel, Arnold Hebert, David Martinez, Russell LeBlanc, Francis LeBlanc and Tony Desormeaux. The family would like to thank the 2nd floor staff at Abbeville General Hospital and the staff at Maison de Monde. David Funeral Home of Erath, 209 E.
