Lafayette " A Mass of Christian Burial for Wayne Joseph Alleman, 61, will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 8, 2008 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Broussard, with Father Louis Richard officiating. Visitation will be at David Funeral Home of Broussard beginning Friday, November 7, 2008 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a recitation of the rosary at 6:30PM, led by Father Millard Boyer. Visitation will resume on Saturday, November 8, 2008 from 8:00 AM until the time of services. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery.

Mr. Alleman, a resident of Broussard, passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2008 in Lafayette. His 7-year battle with cancer was fought with determination, courage, and humor. He remained focused on his life passions: cherishing moments with family and lifelong friends, riding motorcycles, and putting a smile on everyones face. His infectious sense of humor kept him the life of the party until his last day. He dedicated over 35 years to the oilfield industry. He was an amazing father and friend, and his spirit will truly be missed by all.

He is survived by his two daughters, Ashley Alleman Hebert and husband Brandon, Meghan Alleman and fianc John Hebert both of Loreauville; one grandson, Addison James Hebert of Loreauville; one sister, Connie Alleman Miller and husband Alfred of Crowley; one niece, Erin Alleman of Crowley; former wife, Cynthia J. Alleman of St. Martinville; parents by marriage, Curtis and Betty Judice; girlfriend, Brenda Carpenter of New Iberia: pet grandchildren, Cole and Brahma Alleman

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Celia Catherine Alleman; and one brother, Brian J. Alleman; mother, Mildred Alleman; and father, Percy Alleman.

Serving as pallbearers will be Benton Perrodin, Fred Perry, Mark Judice, Alfred Miller, Brandon Hebert, and John Hebert.
