Patricia Foreman Romero

Visitation will begin on Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2008 at 10:00 AM until 10:00 PM and resume on Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2008 at 8:00 AM. A rosary will be prayed in the funeral home on Tuesday at 7:00 PM.

A native of Vermilion Parish and a resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Romero died on Saturday, Nov. 8, 2008 at 7:50 AM at her residence. She was currently employed as a Bookkeeper/Purchasing Agent with Title I at the Iberia Parish School Board for many years. Prior to her employment with the Iberia Parish School Board she also worked at Sentennial Security and the Iberia Parish Sheriffs Office during the administration of Sheriff G. Jerry Wattigny for many years. She was a Eucharistic Minister at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and a member of the Catholic Daughters.

She is survived by her daughter, Tricia Romero Boudoin and her husband Connif; her son, Chad G. Romero; her grandsons, Brooks Boudoin and Derrick Romero; her granddaughters, Bree Boudoin and Lanie Romero all of New Iberia; her brother, Kenneth Bobby Foreman of Erath and her ½ sister, Lula Pie Peyton of Bayou Vista.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gallen J. Romero; her parents, Easton and Lucy Vice Foreman and her ½ brothers, June and Leroy Foreman.

Pallbearers will be Brooks Boudoin, Derrick Romero, Chad Romero, Connif Boudoin, Nuxy Romero, Dolfie Romero, Kenneth Bobby Foreman and Teddy Lemaire.

Honorary pallbearers will be Logan Rodrigue and J. C. Romero.
