Abbeville " A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Marjorie Hoffpauir Nolan, 78, will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at St. Theresa Catholic Church with Fr. Kenneth Mayne officiating. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Abbeville beginning Wednesday, November 19, 2008 from 9:00AM until the time of services. Interment will follow at St. Paul Cemetery. Mrs. Nolan, a native and resident of Abbeville died at 8:30PM on November 16, 2008 at a local Abbeville Hospital. Mrs. Nolan was the owner and operator of Nolans Grocery Store which she started in 1962. Mrs. Nolan enjoyed fishing and going to the Casino. She is survived by her two sons, Rod Nolan and his wife Daisy of Abbeville, and Ted Nolan and his wife Brenda of Abbeville; one daughter, Lana Graham and her husband Willard of Abbeville.; her long time companion of thirty years, Albert Shelvin, Jr.; one brothers, Alvin Hoffpauir, Jr. of Abbeville; eight grandchildren, Randall, Kay, Donnell, Nakeia, Karen, Derick, Trent, and Cole; and a host of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Viola Ardoin Hoffpauir, Sr.; and her brother Albert Hoffpauir, Sr. Serving as pallbearers will be family members and friends.
