Lafayette " Funeral Services will be conducted for Mr. Jackie Sim Phil Broussard, age 66, at 2:00PM Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at David Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Marty Hoey officiating. Interment will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 8, 2009 from 4:30PM until 10:00PM and will resume Wednesday, December 9, 2009 from 8:00AM until service time. A native and resident of Lafayette Mr. Broussard died Sunday, December 6, 2009 at Regional Medical Center Hospital. He was employed with A1 Fire & Safety as a service technician. He was also a Manager in a grocery store for 25 years and a cook at McDonalds. He is survived by his wife Jeanette Poirier Broussard of Lafayette; a daughter, Radona Castille and husband T-Boy of Carencro; a son, Bryan P. Broussard of Duson; a grandson, Hunter Broussard; a sister, Connie LeBlanc and husband Emrey of Lafayette; and a brother, Ronald Broussard and wife Sue of Basile. He was preceded in death by his parents; Moise H. and Beulah Hernendez Broussard; and a sister Rochelle B. Richard. Serving as pallbearers will be Bryan Brousard, T-Boy Castille, Ronald Broussard, Allen Menard, Steve Poirier, Shannon Trahan and Hunter Broussard.
