New Iberia-Funeral Services will be conducted for Mrs. Charles John Broussard the former Peggy Aunt Peg Myers, Age 66, at 11:00AM Tuesday December 2, 2008 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with Father Mark Derise officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday December 1, 2008 from 11:00AM until 10:00PM with a Rosary being prayed at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume Tuesday from 8:00AM until service time.

She died Friday November 28, 2008 at 5:26 PM in a Lafayette health care facility.

A native and lifelong resident of New Iberia Aunt Peg worked for many years at the New Iberia Post Office. She enjoyed being with her family, dancing, traveling and cooking. She also enjoyed outings with her family of classmates. She was a very determined person. Peggy was a graduate of Airline Hostess School and The Academy of Hair Design.

Survivors include two sisters; Brenda Primeaux and husband Gill and Jerry Viator all of New Iberia, grandchildren; Tyler, Holden, Anthony, Amiah, Oliver and Wyatt and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband; Charles John Broussard, her son; Dax Charles Broussard and her parents; Ernest and Mable Thibodeaux Myers.

Pallbearers will be Torey Primeaux, Tommy Parr and Dra Parr, David Breaux II, Gunnar and Shane Robichaux, Tyler Prados and Holden Broussard. Honorary pallbearers will be Scotty Romero, James Pisani and her NISH classmates of 1960.

David Funeral Home, 1101 Trotter St., New Iberia, La. (337-369-6336) is in charge of arrangements.
